境缘无好丑，好丑起于心

    心所攀缘的境界没有好坏之分。这些所谓好坏境界都是心念的意识分别。心念如果不去强行攀缘，妄想又从何而起呢？妄心不起之后，遍知一切的常住真心便自然显露出来。你只须随心自在修行，不用再刻意地对治什么，你的心就是如来常住法身的显现，如如不动，没有变化。

    Dharma Talk by Venerable Master Renda: #The circumstances and conditions are neither beautiful nor ugly, the beauty and ugliness stem from your heart# The circumstances which the mind attaches have no difference of good or bad. These so-called good or bad circumstances are your thoughts, the reflection of consciousness. If your mind does not strive to attach to the conditions, how could the idle thoughts arise? Without the arising thoughts, the eternal dwelling true heart which knows everything will manifest naturally. You just need to follow your mind and practice freely, do not need to treat anything specifically, since your heart is the manifestation of the eternal dwelling dharma body of tathagata, as thusness, unmoved, with no variation.
